Manuel Medarde Sagrera, founding member of The Gaudí Research Institute, was presented with the First Prize for Gaudí Research and Dissemination awarded by the Gaudí Center Madrid.

On October 5, Manuel Medarde Sagrera, founding member of The Gaudí Research
Institute, was presented with the First Prize for Gaudí Research and Dissemination
awarded by the Gaudí Center Madrid.
This event took place during the celebration of the III National Gaudí Conference in
Madrid, which in this edition was part of the XXI International Architecture Week
Madrid 2024. The aforementioned conferences had three venues: the Francisco de
Vitoria University, the Official College of Architects of Madrid and the Catalan Circle
of Madrid.
Pere Jordi Figuerola Rotger, also a founding member of said institute, described the
figure of the winner and thanked the granting entity for having had the consideration
of selecting Manuel Medarde for this first time that it has awarded its prize.
Next, the collaboration framework agreement between both entities was signed. On
behalf of the Gaudí Center Madrid it was carried out by its president, Nieves Gómez
Álvarez, and on behalf of The Gaudí Research Institute it was carried out by Pere Jordi
Figuerola Rotger.
