As has happened with the other few polymaths that Humanity has produced, Gaudí’s creative and innovative power seems to have no end. In the words of Sir Norman Foster: “Gaudí’s methods, a century later, continue to be revolutionary”. For this reason, TGRI carries out continuous research work collaboratively with other international institutes. The learning we obtain along this path allows us to discover the genius’s thinking and method, and to develop a conceptual map of the reason for his works, both those he executed and those that remained simple projects. For example, TGRI has advised on Soft Architecture, Urban Planning and Tourism projects for the city of Chengdu. To this end, TGRI has held several meetings and studies: visit and debate at the Chengdu Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, participation in symposium “Park City and Gaudí architecture research” with Sichuan Provincial Architectural Design and Research Institute and the Chongzhou Government in the Longhuang Village (Zhuli), intervention in round table at Sichuan University, besides others. We have also collaborated with the organizers of the exhibition “Window on the Future – Gaudí Meets 3D Printing” held during the “Tokyo Midtown Design Touch 2021” in the Tokyo Midtown B1 Atrium (Roppongi, Tokyo, Japan). TGRI collaborates with the organizing company YKK AP Inc., the Window Research Institute, the YSLA Architects and the Tokyo Polytechnic University.
