Pere Jordi Figuerola Rotger, founding member of The Gaudí Research Institute, has published the study “Gaudí’s Social Commitment and the Colonia Güell” in the special issue of the magazine “Temes d’avui” dedicated to the Gaudí Year 2026.
The Gaudí Research Institute recently hosted Cai Guo-Qiang, China’s most internationally renowned contemporary artist. Cai has received numerous awards, including the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale, and has exhibited at major museums such as MoMA. The Gaudí Research Institute (TGRI) held a meeting with Shanghai Chengtou Changxing Construction & Development (Group). The Chinese delegation was headed by its chairman, Wang Quansheng. This company is leading the project to transform Changxing Island into an innovative, world-class model of sustainability. The meeting took place at TGRI’s headquarters in Colonia Güell (Barcelona).
