The Gaudí Research Institute (TGRI) received a visit from the official Korean delegation that had participated in the International Union of Architects (UIA-UNESCO) Congress held in Barcelona.

The close relationship between TGRI and Korea has yielded various results. For instance, in 2013, TGRI represented the Barcelona City Council at events commemorating the 30th anniversary of the city twinning between Busan and Barcelona. Additionally, in 2015, TGRI hosted a group of top Korean students at the historic University of Barcelona building during an event organized by the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Barcelona—an occasion documented by South Korea’s state broadcaster, KBS.
