Premiere of the first documentary on wine production (1911-1917) that is part of the collection of The Gaudí Research Institute: “Elaboración y crianza de vinos de Pedro G. Maristany Pera-Grau Conde de Lavern (Films Cabot, Barcelona)”.
Pere Jordi Figuerola Rotger, curator of the exhibition “The Penedès through Gaudí’s eyes”, will introduce the event and introduce the eminent speaker Esteve Riambau Möller, film historian and director of the Filmoteca de Catalunya from 2010 to 2024.
The discovery of this film represents a milestone both in terms of the history of cinema and that of viticulture.
The session will take place on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 7 p.m. in the VINSEUM auditorium in Vilafranca del Penedès, within the framework of the aforementioned exhibition organized by the Pinnae Foundation. Access is free and capacity is limited.
