The King and Queen of Spain have begun their state visit to China in Chengdu. It is worth noting the close ties between The Gaudí Research Institute (TGRI) and this capital of Sichuan province, where it has been holding Gaudí exhibitions since 2018 and has hosted two Gaudí World Congresses.
Furthermore, in 2020, TGRI signed an agreement to participate in the sustainable urban planning project for the central area of Jinjiang Park in Chengdu, with Mr. Pere Jordi Figuerola appointed as the institute’s official instructor. To this end, several roundtables were held with official bodies, such as the Chongzhou Government and Sichuan University, and a private visit was made to the Chengdu Museum of Urban Planning.
